Kia of Irvine is growing, and we're looking for a driven and experienced Used Car Buyer to join our team! If you have a passion for the automotive industry, strong negotiation skills, and an eye for vehicle value, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and purchase high-quality used vehicles for our inventory through auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers.
• Perform accurate vehicle appraisals and determine market values based on current demand, condition, and reconditioning costs.
• Maintain strong relationships with auction reps, wholesalers, and other industry contacts.
• Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions that support inventory turn and profitability goals.
• Coordinate with the reconditioning and sales teams to ensure inventory readiness.
• Maintain detailed purchase records and inventory logs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Used Car Buyer or in automotive purchasing/appraising required.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, market values, and industry trends.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with auction platforms like Manheim and ACV is a plus.
