Position Overview

As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will engage with customers in the service lane to identify and present vehicle trade-in and upgrade opportunities. You will maintain professional communication, provide detailed information on vehicles, and support customers through the vehicle exchange process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage customers at the service drive to discuss trade-in values and vehicle upgrades
  • Follow dealership vehicle exchange procedures, with training provided
  • Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features, pricing, and incentives
  • Manage and build a customer portfolio using the CRM system to support future sales and referrals
  • Participate in sales and product knowledge meetings and training sessions
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure smooth vehicle upgrade processes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle inventory and assist with vehicle condition evaluations
  • Contact customers with expiring leases to discuss re-leasing or purchasing options
  • Analyze daily and monthly activities to improve sales strategies and efficiency

Work Environment and Hours

This role requires working flexible hours, including some weekends, to accommodate customer needs. You will be part of a collaborative and professional team dedicated to excellent service in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as retail or restaurant preferred but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable communicating via text, email, phone, and video
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Willingness to learn new software systems, including CRM tools
  • Professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug screening, and credit report
  • Commitment to performing duties safely and responsibly
