• Salary: $20 to $40 per hour
• Job Type: Full Time
• Location: Garden Grove, CA 92843

Position Summary

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostics and repairs to maintain vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction. You will follow factory and local service guidelines while delivering professional and courteous service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer vehicle concerns using current technical and administrative tools.
• Provide courteous service and assist as a secondary greeter near the Service Drive when needed.
• Stay updated with technical publications, Service Comm updates, and Asist terminal operations.
• Complete repairs correctly the first time, addressing original customer issues before additional sales.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles for maintenance needs according to factory and local recommendations.
• Return vehicles to customers in clean or cleaner condition than received.
• Participate in factory or in-house training programs to maintain technical skills.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and attach necessary documents to repair orders.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM, or Group Leader.
• Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and readiness to work.

Job Requirements

• Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on multiple vehicle makes and models.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and high energy level.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
• Good judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification or equivalent technical aptitude required.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
