Hardin Automotive Group is seeking a dedicated Automotive Porter to join our team in Irvine, California. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $17 to $20 per hour. As an essential part of our service and sales operations, the Porter helps maintain the quality and presentation of vehicles and supports team members to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company vision by leading yourself and working cooperatively with the team
  • Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before delivery
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damage and promptly report any issues
  • Clean interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles to maintain presentation standards
  • Organize the vehicle lot by moving vehicles according to dealership display standards
  • Transport vehicles between storage areas and delivery locations
  • Test customer vehicle batteries in the service area as needed
  • Maintain the condition of buildings and grounds as required
  • Assist with shop cleanup and delivery tasks when assigned

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with authorization to drive in the USA
  • Ability to operate vehicles, including manual transmission
  • Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
  • Ability to perform all essential duties safely and reliably
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including background check, driver's record verification, drug test, and credit check
  • Availability to work full-time hours as scheduled
