  • Location: Garden Grove, CA 92843

Position Summary

The Automotive Porter plays a key role in supporting the maintenance and presentation of vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires close collaboration with service and sales teams and direct interaction with customers during vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support team efforts aligned with company vision and mission
  • Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before customer delivery
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages and report any issues promptly
  • Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
  • Maintain an orderly vehicle lot by moving vehicles according to dealership standards
  • Transport vehicles to and from storage locations as required
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive
  • Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed
  • Help with shop clean-up and deliveries as requested

Work Environment

This full-time role is based in Garden Grove, California. The position involves outdoor work and requires physical activity related to vehicle handling and lot upkeep.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate vehicles safely
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Customer service skills
  • Safe handling of machinery
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Capable of performing essential job duties satisfactorily
  • Willingness to comply with company safety standards and policies
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check, motor vehicle record review, drug test, and credit report
