Position Summary

We are looking for a professional Automotive Sales Consultant to manage our sales activities. This role involves generating and managing leads, assisting customers in selecting vehicles, and completing sales transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and conduct needs analysis to understand preferred vehicle make, type, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operations both in the showroom and during test drives.
  • Research inventory availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate pricing, trade-in allowances, taxes, license fees, and financing or lease payments.
  • Inspect vehicle inventory regularly and maintain an organized lot.
  • Complete all required paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Conduct vehicle delivery appointments and familiarize customers with their new vehicles.
  • Participate in training sessions and department meetings as required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong sales and communication skills with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Ability to organize and follow up with clients before and after sales.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
