Position Summary

As an Internet Sales Consultant at Hardin Automotive Group, you will manage internet sales activities, generate and handle online sales leads, and contribute significantly to the dealership's sales targets. You will use your communication skills and product knowledge to engage customers and secure sales.

Responsibilities

  • Contact potential customers to assess their vehicle needs, including make, model, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operations in the showroom or during test drives.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using the dealership’s computer database.
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate pricing, trade-in values, fees, and financing or leasing options.
  • Regularly inspect inventory by walking the vehicle lot.
  • Complete all required sales paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their new cars.
  • Participate in training sessions and department meetings as required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work Hours

This is a full-time role. Specific hours will be shared during the interview process.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive Internet sales.
  • At least 1 year of related Internet sales management experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong sales capabilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
