Job Details

  • Salary: From $35,000 to $150,000 per year

Position Summary

As an Internet Sales Consultant, you will manage online sales inquiries and guide customers through the vehicle selection and purchasing process. Effective communication, understanding customer needs, and collaboration with sales and finance teams are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to assess their vehicle needs, including make, model, and preferred features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate their operation in the showroom or on test drives.
  • Use the dealership's database to research model availability and optional equipment.
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance & Insurance (F&I) Managers to negotiate pricing, financing, trade-ins, taxes, and fees.
  • Regularly inspect inventory by physically walking the vehicle lot.
  • Complete all required paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Familiarize customers with their new vehicles at the time of delivery.
  • Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings consistently.
  • Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in automotive Internet sales.
  • Minimum of one year experience in Internet sales management or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong sales abilities with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with effective follow-up before and after the sale.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
